• Server logs — like almost every website, our server keeps routine logs (IP address, pages requested, browser type) for security and reliability.

What we don't do

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind. Everything the site loads — including its typefaces — is served from our own server, so no third party receives data about your visit. We do not sell or trade personal data.

Why we process your data

We process contact enquiries on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to the people who write to us, and server logs on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and available.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and any follow-up. Server logs are rotated routinely.

Who we share it with

Our hosting and email providers process data on our behalf in order to deliver the site and our mailboxes. Beyond that, we don't share personal data with anyone unless the law requires it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, ask us to restrict or object to processing, and request a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email us. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
